NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS FOR THE DEVELOPMENT AND OPERATION OF WORKFORCE HOUSING FOR DISTRICT EMPLOYEES

The Governing Board (“Board”) of the Lompoc Unified School District (“District”) is requesting proposals from competent and qualified development teams for the District’s Workforce Housing for District Employees Project.  The Request for Proposals for the Development and Operation of Workforce Housing for District Employees (“RFP”) can be accessed at the following link: https://lusd.org/employee-housing. Subject to successful negotiation of a contract for these services, the selected development team will provide comprehensive and turnkey design, build, and operation services regarding the Project, including development and planning, design, financing, permitting, construction, and management of rental units to be developed, as further described in the RFP. 

The deadline for submittal of responses to the RFP is January 30, 2026, by 5:00 PM.  Please see the RFP for further information regarding submission requirements and criteria that will be considered in selection of a development team.

The deadline for questions regarding the RFP is December 12, 2025, by 5:00 PM.  The District will provide responses to questions by January 9, 2026. 

The District reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals, or any combination of proposals and to waive any irregularities or informalities which may be legally waived.
