Carpinteria Valley Water District is soliciting bids for the construction of the Carpinteria Advanced Purification Project (CAPP) - Advanced Water Purification Facility. 

 A mandatory pre-bid conference for the Project will be held on September 8 at 1:00 PM at Carpinteria Sanitary District’s offices at 5300 6th St, Carpinteria, CA 93013. The pre-bid conference will consist of presentation and discussion, in which Bidders must attend either in-person or through Zoom, followed by a non-mandatory site-walk.

 Bids for the construction of the Project will be received at the Carpinteria Valley Water District’s offices located at 1301 Santa Ynez Ave, Carpinteria, CA 93013, until 21st of October up to but no later than 3:00 PM local time.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

-Contractor has completed three (3) Similar Work projects with one (1) Similar Work project in last 5 years

-Contractor has completed 5 projects of $20-M in past 10 years

-Project Manager with 10 years minimum experience, 1 Similar Work plant project greater than $30-M and 1 additional heavy civil project greater than $20-M

-Project Superintendent with 5 years minimum experience, 1 Similar Work plant project greater than $30-M

-Commissioning Coordinator with 5 years minimum experience, 1 AWPF plant project in California with 1.0-mgd capacity or greater and 1 additional Similar Work project with 1.0-mgd capacity or greater

Similar work is defined as membrane-based treatment facilities for municipal wastewater and/or municipal water projects in the United States with a treatment capacity of greater than 1.0 MGD. Membrane based treatment includes membrane bioreactors, microfiltration membranes, ultrafiltration membranes, nanofiltration membranes and reverse osmosis membranes.
