I do not see Audio/ Visual Equipment.
RESPONSE:
BOARD ROOM 112 has a Projector and Screen. There is no Audio.
Projector and Screen are shown on the Architectural and Electrical Drawings.
Equipment specified in Section 11 52 00.
Provide Power and Data outlets at Projector location shown on Architectural Section A-A300, Key Note 10.
Provide Power outlet at Screen location shown on Architectural Section A-A300, Key Note 11.
Provide Wireless LAN Adapter with Projector.

Site Visit Affidavit (included in Project Manual, Bid Documents) must be submitted with BID (i.e. Site Visit, prior to Bid, required)
Geotechnical Report to be posted on Santa Barbara Contractors Association
Geotechnical Engineer is preparing an Addendum to the Report, to align with 2022 California Building Code updates.
Geotechnical addendum will not be completed in time to issue to Bidders.
QUESTION:
1. Spec Section 05 40 00, 2.03 B, indicates 3 5/8” wall studs to be 20-gauage. Please confirm all other wall studs are also to be 20-gauge as well or confirm metal gauge for wall studs noted on plans at; 6”, 4”, and 5 ½”.
Per S-010, detail-76, Typical Detail, reference is made to “Cold formed stud blocking with 16-gage support angle or slotted blocking member and connection to flanges”. Please confirm intent is to use 16-gage support angle with 20-guage wall studs, or clarify further.
2. Sheet A-A101, Key Note #4, indicates gypsum board ceilings and/or soffits. Please confirm framing members sizes and metal gauges at these locations.
RESPONSE:
1. Spec Section 05 40 00, 2.03 B, goes on to state,”…or as otherwise shown or noted.” Hence, not only 3 5/8” studs are to be 20 gauge, but, all other wall studs.

3. Spec Section 09 21 16. 2.04 Ceiling and Framing Systems, stipulate ‘C’ shaped steel channels, 16-gauge minimum. Span dictates depth, per mfg.

Custom Masonry mix to match existing.
RESPONSE:
Spec Section 04 22 00. 2.02.A. designates Air Vol Block, Inc. as a selected masonry manufacturer.
Spec Section 04 22 00. 2.03.B. stipulates integral color masonry to match existing.
It was reinforced at the Pre-Bid Conference that the Design Intent for the new Administration Building is to match the materials (colors, finishes, mfg.), details, critical dimensions and installation of the adjacent ‘Operations Building’, just completed.
It was noted that the City’s Architectural Board of Review, reviewed and approved a specific palette of materials and allowed no latitude for substitutions.
Hence the required Site Visit, and affidavit submittal, to ensure that the Bidders have viewed the recently complete ‘Operations Building.’

The District, with concurrence of Counsel, determined that the Engineer’s Estimate would not be shared with the Bidders.

An Addendum will be issued based on the Responses to Bidder’s Questions.
At this time, no Drawing or Specification revisions will be a part of the Addendum.
For Bidding purposes, clarifications and/or corrections to the Documents included as part of a Response are to be assumed as if the Documents were revised and reissued.

QUESTION:
Please confirm owner is providing both the Heat Pumps (RTU-1&2) and the economizers per keynote #01 on M-2.1 and if the units will be delivered direct to jobsite.
RESPONSE:
Thank You for asking this question. The Key Note is inaccurate. The CONTRACTOR is responsible for ALL Equipment, Materials, Systems, and Accessories required for the installation 0f a complete and operating system. CONTRACTOR shall provide Heat Pumps (RTU 1 & RTU2) as Scheduled on Sheet M-0.0, and all ancillary equipment and systems.
